Challenges
Jumeirah Island is a high-end housing development where aesthetics and performance are both extremely important. The project had to have a distinct look, and the exterior and interior paint finishes were an important part of creating its appeal. The client’s specifications were very precise with regard to colour and finish, and our challenge was to deliver the vision that was born out of the planning stage. The Asian Paints Berger team offered several options before finalizing the look.
Working with our signature textured exterior products like Weathercoat Vintage and Weathercoat Stoneshield required great skill and expertise, especially with regard to delivering the exact colours. For instance, Weathercoat Stoneshield is a unique product incorporating stone chips, and can only be applied by specialist painters. Creating the special effects of the Vintage finish also required skilled knowledge.
With multiple complex products involved, careful project management was essential for ensuring that the correct paint systems were used.
