Epimastic 5100

A high-solid, high-build, low VOC self-priming, anti-corrosive epoxy coating that can be used as a finish or along with a top coat in tough environments.

This epoxy coating is a high-solid composition, which means it is extremely durable and impact-resistant. Epimastic 5100 is self-priming, and can be used as a finish coat for any application that requires exceptional hard-wearing capabilities. These include offshore installations, piping, chemically resistant pipe work and so on. It is best suited to galvanised iron surfaces that require exemplary anti-corrosion properties to stand up to tough environments.

Finishes -Semi Gloss

Surface preparation Clean the surface with solvent to remove wax, oil and grease. Remove all traces of soluble salts, dirt and dust by dry brushing. Wash with fresh water. Remove loose or flaking coatings. Round off all rough weld seams and sharp edges so that you have a smooth surface to work with.

Application procedure Epimastic 5100 is designed to be a primer-cum-finish. However, in immersed conditions it performs best with a top coat. Use an airless spray or conventional. For difficult shapes and touching up, use a brush or roller.

Tips Stir the contents thoroughly and apply evenly.  Use the thinned mixture immediately.
