Surface preparation Blast clean and remove wax, oil and grease with a solvent cleaner. Remove weld spatter if necessary, rounding off all rough weld seams and sharp edges till the surface is smooth. Fill or treat surface defects. Make sure the surface to be coated is clean and dry. Non-ferrous metals such as GI, aluminium and copper must be wire brushed or sanded, and then thoroughly cleaned with the tool cleaner.

Application procedure Apply Epilux 70 with an airless spray, after mixing the base and hardener in the ratio 4:1. Overcoat it with a recommended coating as per the system chosen. An airless spray or conventional spray may also be used. Use a brush or roller only for difficult shapes or touching up.
