Apcochar (WB) - 100

A low VOC, self-insulating, fire-resistant coating for interior steel. It is a cost-effective finish that resists humidity and corrosion.

Apcochar (WB) - 100 is a fire-resistant coating for interior structural steel. This low VOC, water-based coating is intumescent - it swells when exposed to fire to form a layer of insulation. A poor conductor of heat, IT is certified by Exova Warrington Fire for fire safety. This cost-effective, high-performance coating is ideal for interiors with moderate humidity, and exposure to corrosion. In low-corrosion environments such as heated, well-maintained buildings, no top coat is needed.

Surface preparation Remove all traces of oil, grease and other contamination before blasting. Grind sharp edges and remove weld spatter. Apply one coat of a primer such as Epilux 78, Epilux 76 or Epilux 74.

Application procedure Apply two coats of Apcochar (WB) - 100 with adequate time between coats.
