Surface preparation Blast clean and remove wax, oil and grease with a solvent cleaner. Carry out wet abrasion with Solvalux 5-30 and an abrasion paper, to remove all contaminants and improve adhesion. Make sure the surface to be coated is clean and dry. Non-ferrous metals such as GI, aluminium and copper make sure that only zinc is abraded away and remove wax etc. with a solvent cleaner.
Application procedure Apply Epilux 70 with an airless spray, after mixing the base and acid diluent in the ratio 4:1. Overcoat it with recommended coating as per system chosen. Use an airless spray or conventional. For difficult shapes and touching up, use a brush or roller.
