About the Project
Sheraton Oman Hotel in Ruwi, which has remained closed for nearly eight to nine years for refurbishment, will once again throw open its doors this year. Built in 1985, the Sheraton Oman is a landmark in the city of Muscat and is also one of the tallest buildings in the city with 14 floors.
The newly renovated hotel will have 230 elevated rooms, including 27 suites for its guests.
Besides this it will have nine meeting rooms, two board rooms and an Oman ball room, with close to 1200 square metres, and will be one of the biggest in the country, according to an official at the Sheraton Oman Hotel.
The hotel will also have four restaurants and a lounge. "Among them will be The Courtyard- an all-day dining place, which will have a capacity of 220 guests and Asado-an Argentinean Steak House, where 100 guests can be accommodated," the official said.
