Smartcare swellable water bar used in construction joints to withstand hydrostatic pressure. It swells when in contact with water to prevent water Penetration through the joints. Smartcare Swellable water bar can withstand a water pressure up to 5 bars. The swelling property of the bar helps in sealing the movements in joints by shrinkage or settlement. It is a flexible polymer composite with high chemical resistance, which is capable of holding water in its molecular structure by increasing its volume without changing the structure of the polymer.
