SmartCare Bitushield Primer SB Advanced is a fast drying, solvent-based, low viscosity bitumen primer for bituminous waterproofing membrane conforming to the requirements of ASTM D 41 and BS 3416 Type A Class C. When dry, the product forms an odorless and taints free bitumen film suitable for protection of substrates like metal, concrete, wood, etc. against water attack. It is used as a primer on masonry and concrete substrates to improve the adhesion of bitumen based membranes.

SmartCare Bitushield Primer SB Advanced is ideally used as a primer or sealer coat prior to the application of bitumen-based waterproofing membranes.
Penetrates into concrete pores and improves adhesion between the bitumen-based membrane and concrete surface.
Asphalt primer for roofing, waterproofing and damp proofing.
Curing compound on freshly cast concrete –provides an effective, waterproof, Weatherproof, corrosion-resistant protective layer.
Resistant to Low concentrations of alkalis and acids and can withstand prolonged oxidation.
Suitable for application to a wide variety of materials like iron & steel, zinc, aluminium, cement, concrete, stone, wood, felt, brick, etc
Adhesion Improvement The product improves the adhesion between bitumen based membranes and concrete.
Chemical and Gas Barrier It provides an excellent barrier against ingress of chloride & sulphate ions and carbon dioxide diffusion.
Versatile Application Orientation The primer can be applied on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Curing Compound Capability It can be used as a curing compound on freshly cast concrete.
